Does Flowy get access to my browsing data?

No.

Privacy is a priority for us, which is why we will never store your browsing data on our servers.

We primarily use Apple’s and Google’s Screen Time tools to block content and provide you with analytics. This is done locally on your device, and all the data comes directly from Apple or Google.

When we use a VPN, it is applied locally on your device, and we never retrieve or store data on our servers.

How does a Session work?

A session allows you to block apps and websites for a time-restricted period or by usage. You can create three types of sessions:

  • Weekly schedule: Set a weekly recurring session, perfect for your work schedule and constant deep work.
  • Timer: Start now and set a one-time limit for the session.
  • Daily usage: Set the number of minutes or app opens you are allowed to use per day.

Can I also limit my screen time by app opens?

Yes! You can limit the number of times you can open an app or the number of minutes you use it per day.

You can also group apps and websites so that you have a limited number of opens or time usage per group as a whole.

What types of Breaks are available?

Breaks allow you to pause your session for a limited time so you can relax and then regain momentum. There are three types of breaks per session:

  • Mindful: When you open an app, you will have a few seconds to breathe before accessing it, and then you can choose how many minutes you will use it.
  • Timer: Choose how many minutes you want to use an app for a fixed time period. For example, you can have a 5-minute break every 2 hours.
  • Frictionless (not recommended): Easily access apps whenever you want for a fixed time period.

Can I edit or stop a Session if it's active?

Yes and no… It depends on the difficulty level you set for your session. You can choose between:

  • Strict: You will not be able to pause or edit a session if it’s active.
  • Flexible: You can pause or edit a session anytime.
